Cultural Parenting Panel with Regine Kanzki and Jean Robert Menard from Broward Healthy Start Coalition, Dr. Namitha Raju from Beautiful Bonds, and a representative from Early Learning Coalition of Broward. Culture is a powerful influence on how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. Culture shapes our values, beliefs, customs, traditions, and behaviors. As parents, we want to raise our children to appreciate and respect the diversity of cultures in our society, as well as to honor their own cultural heritage. But how do we do that in a way that is authentic, meaningful, and respectful? In this workshop, you will learn about the benefits of cultural diversity for your child’s development, such as enhancing their creativity, empathy, and social skills.
